PROJECTS
Women/Children's Shelter
40 individual care packages. full with shampoos, conditioners, lotions, massaging soaps, body washes, and a miscellaneous item, were donated to Alpha House of Tampa, for their homeless mothers/children.
The Homeless
62 care packages of hotel toiletries and a large box of fuzzy socks were donated to the Tampa Bay Street Medicine program which takes healthcare services to the streets and serves the homeless.
Veterans
Care packages were provided to homeless female veterans through an event hosted by the Dress for Success program.
International
Women Services
100 individual care packages of hotel toiletries, along with a box full of makeup items, were donated to the Dress for Success program which empowers disadvantaged women to become economically independent.
Canada
A bucket full of tea/coffee packages, as well as 50 individual care packages, containing hotel toiletries and a pair of socks or gloves, were donated to Covenant House of Toronto serving homeless youth ("street kids").
Dominican Republic
Through the student-led organization, Project World Health, 100 care packages of hotel toiletries were sent to the Dominican Republic as part of a medical mission trip to the impoverished region of Jarabacoa.
